Three takes. Sixty seconds.

Three rapid-fire takes on the business of tech — who moved, who paid, and which claims don't survive a second look. Every weekday morning. Sixty seconds. Free. Fair warning: your feed is going to start feeling slow.

Why this exists

02 · The premise

Most tech coverage is transcription. A company says a thing. The thing becomes a headline. The headline becomes the record. Nobody runs the code, reads the filing, or calls the third engineer, because checking is slow and the feed doesn't wait.

We do it the other way. Read the whole filing. Find the original number. Ask the person who was actually in the room. Not every claim needs an engineer — some need a document read to the last page, some need a benchmark re-run on rented hardware — and we staff for both. When a claim holds up, we say so with the same energy we'd bring to tearing it down. We're not contrarians — contrarians are as lazy as believers, they've just picked the other default. We're checkers.
